Michael Thompson’s photographs taken at the annual commemoration in Kilbehenny, Co Limerick for Tpr Patrick Mullins, 1 Mot Sqn who was killed on 15 Sep 1961 in Elisabethville, Katanga Province in the Republic of the Congo while serving with Armd Car Gp, 35 Inf Bn ONUC. His body was not recovered. The ceremony was attended by the Mullins family, members of Post 25 and Post 5. Capt O’Shea, 1 Cav Sqn represented GOC 1 Bde.
We remember Patrick Mullins and his sacrifice.
